What Does Interior Car Detailing Include?
Interior detailing should not feel like a mystery package where you find out what was included after the work is finished.
What Does Interior Car Detailing Include? The Quick Answer
Interior car detailing goes beyond picking up trash and running a vacuum over the seats. The exact work depends on the service level.
At Beastman, Mini Interior is a lighter maintenance clean. Full Interior is a more complete cabin reset with fuller vacuuming, steam cleaning of vents and hard surfaces, scrubbing, floor-mat removal and cleaning, compressed-air crevice cleaning and more detailed attention throughout the cabin.
Conditions requiring deeper treatment, such as heavily soiled carpet, fabric-seat extraction, significant pet hair or odor concerns, use separate add-ons so customers pay for the work their vehicle actually needs.

What Is Interior Car Detailing?
Professional interior detailing is a structured cleaning process focused on the vehicle's cabin. Depending on the selected package, it can address loose debris, dust, interior glass, seats, hard surfaces, mats, vents, crevices and door jambs.
More specialized conditions may require additional treatment. Every detailer defines packages differently, so this guide focuses on what Beastman's current interior services actually include.
Mini Interior: What's Included?
Mini Interior is intended as a lighter reset for a vehicle that is already in reasonably maintained condition. It includes:
- Light vacuum including cracks and crevices
- Interior window cleaning
- All hard surfaces wiped down
- Light seat cleaning or leather upholstery cleaning
- Light door-jamb wipe-down
Current price and time: $95 / approximately 1 hour for Sedan, Two-Row SUV, Truck and Three-Row SUV categories.
Mini may fit routine maintenance and lighter dust or debris. Vehicle condition still matters, and deeper cleaning may require Full Interior or a targeted add-on.
Full Interior: What's Included?
Full Interior provides more complete attention throughout the cabin. It includes:
- Full vacuum including cracks and crevices
- Steam cleaning all vents and hard surfaces
- All hard surfaces scrubbed and cleaned
- Seat cleaning or leather upholstery cleaning
- Floor-mat removal and cleaning
- All crevices cleaned and blown out with air
- Door-jamb cleaning
- Interior window cleaning
Sedan / Two-Row SUV: $225 / approximately 2 hours
Truck / Three-Row SUV: $275 / approximately 3 hours
The included seat or leather cleaning is different from specialized fabric extraction or dedicated leather cleaning and conditioning. Those deeper treatments remain separate add-ons.
Does a Full Interior Detail Include Carpet Shampoo?
At Beastman, Carpet Shampoo & Heated Extraction is a separate add-on: $80 / approximately 1 additional hour.
Separating extraction from the base package lets customers choose it when the carpet condition actually needs deeper treatment. Every Full Interior does not automatically need extraction.
Does Interior Detailing Include Seat Shampoo?
Mini and Full Interior include seat or leather cleaning according to their listed scope. Fabric Seat Shampoo & Heated Extraction is a deeper-treatment add-on at $12 per seat / approximately 15 minutes per seat.
This distinction keeps ordinary seat cleaning separate from condition-specific extraction work.
What About Leather Seats?
Base package seat or leather cleaning differs from the dedicated Leather Seat Cleaning & Conditioning add-on.
The add-on is $12 per seat / approximately 10 minutes per seat. It is intended for focused cleaning and conditioning; it does not restore cracked, torn or otherwise physically damaged leather.
Are Floor Mats Included?
Full Interior includes floor-mat removal and cleaning. The optional Carpet Floor Mat Deep Cleaning add-on is a deeper treatment at $10 per mat / approximately 10 minutes per mat.
Standard package cleaning and heated-extraction deep cleaning are different scopes. The add-on applies when the mat condition calls for more intensive work.
Does Interior Detailing Include Steam Cleaning?
Full Interior includes steam cleaning of vents and hard surfaces. Mini Interior does not list steam cleaning as an inclusion.
Beastman also lists Steam Cleaning - Hard Surfaces as a separate add-on at $45 / approximately 30 minutes. The catalog does not define one universal difference for every package and condition, so its availability and scope should be confirmed with the selected package and vehicle.
What About Pet Hair?
Vacuuming is included in both interior packages, but heavy pet-hair saturation can require considerably more labor. Heavy Pet Hair Removal is $95 per hour with a one-hour minimum.
Ordinary pet hair does not automatically trigger that add-on. It is reserved for heavy saturation. Read Can Car Detailing Remove Pet Hair?.
Does Interior Detailing Remove Odors?
Cleaning may help when the odor source is removable dirt or contamination. Beastman also offers Odor Elimination Treatment as a separate add-on at $40 / approximately 30 minutes.
No treatment can guarantee that every odor will disappear permanently. Persistent smells may come from hidden contamination, water intrusion or a mechanical issue. Read Why Does My Car Still Smell After I Clean It?.
Is Headliner Cleaning Included?
Headliner Spot Cleaning is a separate add-on at $40 / approximately 30 minutes. It targets specific marks and buildup without treating the headliner like ordinary carpet.
This is spot cleaning, not a promise to saturate, shampoo or restore the entire headliner.
What About Child Car Seats?
Child Car Seat Cleaning is a separate add-on at $20 per car seat / approximately 18 minutes per seat. The current service description includes vacuuming, spot treatment and steam cleaning of fabric and hard surfaces.
That description does not claim disassembly of safety components, unapproved harness cleaning, certified reinstallation, sanitization or restoration. Customers should continue following the seat manufacturer's care and installation instructions.
What Is Not Automatically Included?
Selecting Full Interior does not automatically add every specialized deep-cleaning treatment. Depending on the vehicle, separate options may include:
- Carpet shampoo and heated extraction
- Fabric-seat shampoo and heated extraction
- Leather seat cleaning and conditioning
- Carpet floor-mat deep cleaning
- Additional steam cleaning for hard surfaces
- Headliner spot cleaning
- Odor elimination treatment
- Heavy pet hair removal
- Child car seat cleaning
A "full" detail should not mean charging every customer for every possible treatment whether their vehicle needs it or not.
Mini or Full: Which Should I Choose?
Mini Interior may make sense when:
- The interior is maintained regularly
- Debris and soil are light
- You mainly want a maintenance clean
- You do not need deeper treatment
Full Interior may make sense when:
- The cabin needs more thorough attention
- Vents and hard surfaces need deeper work
- Crevices need more attention
- Floor mats need removal and cleaning
- You want a more comprehensive reset
A targeted add-on may make sense when one specific condition needs deeper treatment. The dirtiest-looking vehicle does not automatically need every option.
How Long Does Interior Detailing Take?

Can Detailing Remove Stains?
Some stains can improve substantially, but results depend on the material, substance, age, previous treatment, depth and surrounding condition. There is no universal stain-removal guarantee.

Will Detailing Make My Interior Look Brand New?
Professional cleaning can significantly improve many interiors, but it cannot reverse permanent staining, torn upholstery, cracked leather, burns, missing material, permanent discoloration or physical damage.
Cleaning can do a lot. It still has not figured out how to turn a french-fry burn into new upholstery.
How Often Should I Clean My Interior?
The right schedule depends on use, parking, kids, pets, spills and how quickly debris builds up. This article covers inclusions; read How Often Should You Clean Your Car Interior? for maintenance timing and How to Keep Your Car Interior Clean With Kids for family-vehicle habits.
